What Alice Forgot By Liane Moriarty was a slice of heaven for me. The first chapter starts well. Alice, the main character, has gotten a concussion at the gym and can’t remember the last decade of her life. Talk about a shocker!

She believes she is pregnant with her first child and madly in love with her husband, Nick. The reality is she has several kids and is working towards a divorce. I enjoyed the read because it made me think of what I would want for Alice. Should she continue through with her divorce and trust herself before the concussion? Or should she try to fall in love with her husband again? What would you want? I was engaged the entire time in this mysterious romance.

A warning for those that care: there is some cursing. More potentially triggering is the point of view of the sister, who struggles with infertility and miscarriages. Some pages may be difficult to read, but it helps fit additional puzzle pieces into the story. I look at this book on my shelf with love and plan to re-read it again in the future.
